We deliver projects that improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the Bolton community.
Projects include:
Tackling Loneliness Together – Connecting older adults who may be at risk of loneliness through Zoom chats, phone calls, letters and garden gate visits.
Extra Time Hubs – A weekly project that encourages those aged 55+ to connect with other like minded people, promotion physical activity and socialising.
Fitter Fans – A weekly physical activity and social element project which tackles inactivity and isolation for those aged 60+.
Walking Football – Offering those aged 50+ the opportunity to carry on playing football and experience the health and social benefits that come along with being active.
Sporting Memories – Tackling isolation, loneliness and dementia through providing the older generation with the opportunity to meet and reminisce about all things Bolton Wanderers.
